RULES
AND REGULATIONS
GOVERNING USE OF BLACK EAGLE BOWMEN,
INC.
ARCHERY RANGES
1.
THINK-LOOK-BE SURE before you
release an arrow. Draw bow in
a horizontal position. LEVEL bow
drawing only.
2.
NO shooting while under the influence
of DRUGS or ALCOHOL.
3.
Be careful with MATCHES and CIGARETTES
while on our range. No smoking
is permitted indoors. Tobacco
chewers must remove their own
spittoons.
4.
Don’t be a LITTERBUG. Place
all litter in receptacles provided.
Remember: arrow parts (shafts,
vanes, nocks, tips) constitute
litter.
5.
Shoot from the appropriate BLOCKS
on practice range. NO cross lane
shooting.
6.
DAMAGE: Anyone destroying Club
property shall be subject to a
hearing where penalties will be
assigned.
7.
NO target shooting with FIREARMS.
8.
Search for LOST ARROWS with extreme
caution. While searching for lost
arrows behind targets, stand bow
in a visible area. Have someone
watch for other shooters on the
range.
9.
The range captain shall call WORK
PARTIES. There will be no shooting
permitted while work is in progress.
10.
During a SCHEUDLED SHOOT, no one
is permitted to shoot unless participating
in the scheduled shoot.
11.
No broadheads shall be shot on
targets #1 through #28 or on practice
bales. Bring your own broadhead
target or use discarded McKenzie
targets provided for that purpose.
12.
Shoot into designated target butts
on range and practice area. No
random shooting allowed. Absolutely
no shooting of animals is permitted.
13.
All JUNIOR members (under 16 years
of age) must be accompanied by
an adult 18 years of age or older.
14.
Any member in good standing may
bring a visitor to shoot on our
outdoor range one (1) time only
without charge; thereafter, said
person must pay membership dues.
Indoor shooters pay a shooting
fee with the exception of board
members and season pass holders.
15.
All lost arrows found on the range
shall be deposited in containers
provided for that purpose.
16.
No shooting into new targets prior
to the start of a tournament at
the range.
17.
Report any accidents, which occur,
on Club property. Notify one of
the officers on our Membership
Roster.
18.
Move from target to target in
ascending order; follow trails
and avoid taking shortcuts.
