SHOOTING THE FIELD COURSE ORIENTATION:
Donald Confer, State/National Champion & Record Holder, will present on shooting, scoring the field, hunter & animal rounds. Equipment, shooting the range, scoring. This will be held at the practice range in an informal setting.
SHOOTING THE FIELD COURSE PARTICIPATION:
You will have a chance to shoot some of the targets in small groups accompanied by one of our accomplished field archers. Individual attention will be provided for each of you to learn about this sport.
SHOOTING THE ANIMAL (FIELD STYLE) ROUND:
One half will be set up with 1/3 arrow animal targets that you can try after learning the scoring.
SHOOTING 3D TARGETS:
One half will be set up with some 3D targets for your enjoyment.
PRESENTATION BY SEAN MCVEIGH, TOPICS:
- FILMING YOUR HUNT to share and save the memory, equipment and expertise tips
- CHOOSING PLACES TO HUNT according to weather, season, pressure, wildlife habits
- USING TOPO MAPS/GPS to maximize your opportunities to see more game
- TECHNIQUES that can improve your success
Bring some things to sell/swap. Maybe you will find the treasure you have been looking for.
PICNIC (12:00 Noon):
The highlight of our season. We will provide the chicken main course and will have water and soda available. You bring your special picnic/buffet side dish to share.

annually. Our 3D targets are the best you will find anywhere and
the targets used in the 3D league are quite good. All membership
dues and event fees we receive are put back into the club to
make it better for all members. We wish to thank all the
